in the design and manufacture of mineral process equipment.
The integral personnel of the company have been involved with
the business since 1973, under Hazen Research, Inc. as Hazen-Quinn
Process Equipment Company.
QPEC
was formed in 1993 by James E. Quinn and purchased Hazen-Quinn
Process Equipment Company and is a corporation in the state
of Colorado.
QPEC
specializes in the design and manufacture of a broad range
of equipment for pilot plant and small commercial facilities
for the mineral processing industry.
QPEC
is a world leader in the design and manufacture of shippable
size, free-standing solvent extraction mixer-settler systems
for a wide range of minerals including uranium, molybdenum,
copper, yttrium, vanadium, etc. etc. Sizes range from 100ml
per minute flows up to 450 cubic meters per hour for small
commercial solvent extraction mixer-settlers.
QPEC
now offers flotation cells of Sub-“A” design (Cell
to Cell and Open Flow) from 0.5 to 24 cubic feet per cell
and T-BR (Top-Bottom Recirculation) Flotation cells in 50,
100 and 180 cubic feet per cell capacities.
Other
products include bucket elevators, belt conveyors, feeders,
roll crushers, laboratory and pilot plant ball and rod mills
for grinding, agitators, conditioners, attrition scrubbers,
trommel scrubbers, filters, thickeners, pumps and mineral
jigs, other gravity separation equipment, and custom equipment.
